Xiao Yan returns the favour when Liu Qing's family is involved with the rights to control a wormhole (used for travelling) with a powerful family, Xiao Yan helps him win the rights

Yeah, I love it when opponents attack before or while their opponents are in mid powerups/attacks/etc...because who in their right mind would let their opponents recover or finish power up moves that can be used on them to defeat them smh. And it actually shows XY's talents and skills even more, how he's proficient in not just offense but defense as well. Plus his reflexive speed, agility, acrobatic skills too, he evaded dude easily with low difficulty. Should show them how much of a threat he is and not to be trifled with, how badly they f'd up trying to bully XY, the wrong guy to try that on and will only get worse the more they pressure him. I can tell he's going to teach many lessons and cause a lot of chaos during his time there, bet by time he's done, he'll be royalty there (including his wifey) and have the "strong" arrogant characters bowing down after suffering from miserable defeats aha. They'll learn soon, who he is and how his power is leagues above theirs (almost unfairly lol), and how stupid they were for even trying when they're barely competition. Though without these idiots, we wouldn't have laughter, so I just love these characters stupidity, makes for great entertainment lmao. Though they could've just finished the fight instead of leaving it on a stupid cliffhanger smh.

It's not that hard when you read the novel three to five times already and if there is something that is nagging at you, you just go to the chapters that the episode is based. Although the studios sometimes make changes, for the most part they do follow the novel

There is also the fandom of these novels or donghuas but it is only used as a guide rather than gospel since there are trolls that deliberately write misinformation about certain events and characters.

Not to mention that some of the fandom also covers information beyond that of the novel and donghua. They get information from related novels and donghuas that are sequels or prequels, in which they either confuse people who only read the novel related to the donghua or is a big time spoiler. Finally caught up with this Donghua, after years of putting it off due to how long the 3 year agreement was taking, I don't think I could have waited each week in anticipation for the next episode, well worth the wait.

I think I'm alone in this but I don't like the romance between Xun Er & Xiao Yan, I felt like they should have took time in allowing their romance to blossom, I wish she played hard to get a bit more and let it grow over time, she flat out stalked the guy and was keeping tabs on him. In terms of looks, Medusa and Yun Yun are in the lead and make Xun Er look butters in comparison.
